ELECTION NOTICE - STATE AND FEDERAL GENERAL & MUNICIPAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 8, 2022

This is to advise all registered voters who are disabled, age 60 or over, per T.C.A § 2-3-109 (e)(1) and (2)- Disabled and elderly voters in inaccessible precincts have the right to come to the County Election Commission Office to vote, either during the period established for early voting or on election day. Such voter must submit the commission with written notice of their intention to vote at the Election Commission Office on Election Day no later than October 29, 2022. As an alternative, such voter may vote during the early voting period.


Early Voting by Personal Appearance for the State Primary and County General Election will have two polling locations. The places, days and hours are as follows:


EARLY VOTING DATES: OCTOBER 19, 2022- NOVEMBER 3, 2022


Election Commission Office in Jacksboro

Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Friday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.


Satellite Location- Jellico Municipal Building

Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Friday 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.


FEDERAL OR TENNESSEE STATE GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO IDENTIFICATION IS NOW REQUIRED TO VOTE, UNLESS AN EXCEPTION APPLIED. COLLEGE STUDENT ID’S WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER IN PERSON OR TO HAND-DELIVER VOTER REGISTRATION FORMS TO THE CAMPBELL COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION OFFICE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN THE NOVEMBER 8, 2022 ELECTION IS TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2022.

ABSENTEE BY MAIL DEADLINE: OCTOBER 29, 2022 IS THE LAST DAY TO REQUEST AN APPLICATION TO VOTE ABSENTEE BY MAIL.
